The atmosphere was great and the decorations beautiful. The gardens even in the rain are amazing. In fact several of us chose to walk in the rain with our umbrellas rather than ride the shuttle just to take our time in the gardens. The Staff was friendly and didn’t seem to mind taking pictures for our group. The eggplant and lump crabmeat dish was the best I have ever eaten. Had a great time with my classmates from 1966!!!

I had my wedding here and everything was absolutely first class. Janine (the wedding coordinator) was absolutely incredible. She always took my calls and answered all emails and believe me there were plenty. On the day of the wedding everything was incredible. She was there from the moment I arrived till the moment I left. The place is remarkably beautiful, the grounds are exquisite, and the food is to die for. Definitely a royal experience!

Out of the plantations I went to, this was the most beautiful and unique. The home is currently lived in and instead of areas being roped off you are allowed to fully walk into the rooms. The gardens are exceptionally beautiful. The tree out front of the house is 500 years old. Another tree next to the home is 600 years old. There is a Japanese Garden located in the back of the house. The tour guides walk you through the history of the house, through the objects it holds. The gift shop is very large, with a local artist section in the back (definitely visit this location).

The history of this place was amazing. A sad history and a pretty cool place. The owner lives on the property and has been renovating the house. The grounds are beautiful as well. The trees are out of this world, I've never seen such old trees until my visit to N'awlins. Overall very happy with our visit we even met the owner of the house and his dog! Very friendly and the staff are as well.

This place is gorgeous and very historical to the South and especially Louisiana. The guide there was very friendly and knowledgeable of Southern history as well as the property. There are lots of interesting items in the house including, but not limited to, a real Vampire slaying kit. There is also a statue of Abraham Lincoln that is made of over 60 lbs of Sterling Silver. The restaurant on the grounds is good but a little pricey. The gift shop is also very good but pricey. The history book for the property is huge and beautiful but it also costs $92 just be aware of these things.
